The funny pages

This is always how it goes with me. I start a new project wherein I write things, it goes well for... maybe the first night or three, and then its basically pissing into the wind. I think of all kinds of things to write when I'm not actually at a computer and they all poof when I get before keys. I wonder if I should bring something to write on at work, but then I have to remember I have it, and keep it in front of me all day. My way of thinking has always been that a truly good idea will return to me later if its worth keeping. It has probably cost me more ideas than I'd like to think about.

I'm bummed my Zune crapped out. I realize LCD screens are fragile, but I didn't realize that meant it could just break for no reason out of the blue 30 days after purchase. After doing some snooping and corporate blackmail, I learned I'm able to get store credit but not anything else, since apparently the East Coast stopped carrying the 32g Zune HD. My tentative plan is like this:

Return for credit, get a 16g. It's black, not silver, but I'll get over it. It's half the size of my current Zune, but I don't listen to half of my music anyway. No reason to not just switch music in and out given how easy it is. If that's a bust, I'll probably just get an iTouch or something. It's similar enough to what I want, and as long as I'm not buying it from a fucking Apple store I should be able to swallow the bile.

It's a shame. I really liked the silver over the black.
